JNBridgePro 11 supports .NET 5
JNBridgePro Release Supports Microsoft's Next Major .NET Core Release Following 3.1
BOULDER, Colorado, December 2, 2021 – JNBridge, the leading provider of interoperability tools to connect Java and .NET frameworks, today announced the release of JNBridgePro 11. This latest release supports .NET 5. Microsoft’s .NET 5 is the next major release of .NET Core following 3.1. Microsoft dropped “Core” from the name to emphasize that this is the main implementation of .NET going forward.
JNBridgePro 11 follows the company’s long history of enabling developers to connect anything Java together with anything .NET, where .NET meant the original .NET Framework. With this release, .NET includes support for .NET Framework as well as .NET Core and .NET 5 (the future of .NET implementations).
Note that Microsoft still supports .NET Framework 4.x, and JNBridgePro 11.0 continues to support .NET Framework as well.
JNBridgePro makes it easy for developers to connect anything Java together with anything .NET. It provides full access to the entire API from the other side, whether or not it is service-enabled. It exposes any Java and .NET binary, enabling code reuse without touching the original source code. JNBridgePro is architecture-agnostic: It easily scales from in-process to cross-network, on premises or in the cloud.
