JNBridge Releases JNBridgePro 10.1 With New Security Features
Latest release enhances network security options
BOULDER, Colorado, September 9, 2019 – JNBridge, the leading provider of interoperability tools to connect Java and .NET frameworks, today announced the release of JNBridgePro 10.1. This latest version adds new network security features.
JNBridgePro 10.1 addresses the issue recently uncovered by a professional security researcher by adding new network security features when users’ applications are configured to communicate via TCP/IP. These features included SSL communications, class whitelisting, and IP whitelisting.
- SSL communications encrypts the communication and guarantees that each end point has appropriate credentials to access the other side.
- Class whitelisting, turned on by default, limits the APIs that can be accessed by a remote end point.
- IP whitelisting, also turned on by default, limits the hosts from which an end point will accept cross-platform requests.
JNBridgePro 10.1 follows the company’s long history of enabling developers to connect anything Java together with anything .NET. With this release, developers can easily tune their network communications to fit the security requirements of their applications.
“It’s always our imperative to win our customers’ confidence by delivering solid products that just work,” said Wayne Citrin, CTO, JNBridge. “Adding SSL and class whitelisting will go a long way in boosting the security of the applications our customers build across a wide variety of deployment configurations.”

JNBridgePro makes it easy for developers to connect anything Java together with anything .NET, including both .NET Framework and .NET Core. It provides full access to the entire API from the other side, whether or not it is service-enabled. It exposes any Java and .NET binary, enabling code reuse without touching the original source code. JNBridgePro is architecture-agnostic: It easily scales from in-process to cross-network, on premises or in the cloud.
