JNBridge Announces Availability of JNBridgePro 4.0 at Tech·Ed 2008
Latest release incorporates Microsoft Visual Studio integration
Boulder, Colorado, US—June 3, 2008 (Tech·Ed Booth #1545)—JNBridge, the leading provider of Java and .NET interoperability tools, today announced the availability of its latest version of its core product, JNBridgePro 4.0, at the Microsoft Tech·Ed Developers Conference. JNBridgePro 4.0 adds integration with the primary Java and .NET Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): Visual Studio and Eclipse. JNBridgePro 4.0 connects Java and .NET-based components and applications together with simple-to-use bridging tools and adapters that remove the complexities of cross-platform interoperability.
In addition, the company will be demonstrating the latest versions of its two first-to-market JMS adapters: The JNBridge JMS Adapter for .NET and the JNBridge JMS Adapter for BizTalk Server. The adapters provide fast and easy-to-use integration to connect JMS (Java Messaging Service) capabilities directly to Microsoft .NET Framework applications or to BizTalk Server to accelerate the delivery of new software products and services to the enterprise.
JNBridgePro’s new plug-ins allow developers to explore and expose .NET classes directly within Eclipse and explore and expose Java classes directly within Visual Studio.
“JNBridgePro 4.0 and the latest JMS adapters provide even more of what developers are demanding in order to create high-performance, easy-to-use software,” said Phillip Clem, CTO of 4th Story Software. “Throughput gains make a crucial difference to most projects, and getting this task completed more efficiently and effectively with JNBridge’s latest IDE plug-ins means the product pays for itself even faster,” he explained.
JNBridgePro 4.0 includes:
- Ability to access Java classes from Visual Studio via the new JNBridgePro Visual Studio plug-in
- Ability to access .NET classes from Eclipse via the new JNBridgePro Eclipse plug-in
- Full 64-bit support
- Data compression of large messages and arrays for greater performance
“Our focus has always been to make Java and .NET interoperability as easy and simple-to-use as possible,” explained Wayne Citrin, CTO of JNBridge. “The Eclipse and Visual Studio plug-ins in JNBridgePro 4.0 make interop just another project in the build cycle. Developers can keep working in their development environment, yet have full access to the other side.”
